♥ -reality check!-
hey.AB got a silver. yeah. it came to a shock to everyone. there were so much suspense when tey were saying out the results. everyone was so scared. and i thought we could clinch tht gold. but ya. i guess we weren good enough to the judges. but to me, AB did a wonerful job today. of course, everyone cried.even now as im typing this, drops of tears kept flowing down. i could tell tht everyone gave it their all. i felt really good after the performance. but.. ya. well, my journey in AB is indeed a memorable one. ever since i got into AB, it was like hell staying back three times a week. i missed PB ALOT. as in really alot. but come to think of it, i miss AB now, thinking tht i won't be able to play with them anymore, and tht im going back to PB. ya. i guess they really made an impact on me. their lively, bubbly, spastic characters taught me many things. i've made many new friends too. thank god for ppl like them. im really going to miss them! i'll just have to get back to reality, and adapt back to PB's discipline.im proud to be a PBA! =) AB rocks!

ok.. haven been blogging lately. well i'll start with thursday.had meeting for PB about tht thing. it kinda turned out bad for the first part cuz no one wanted to speak up and say what they really think. then the seniors stormed off. and it was only left with the sec 3s and 2s. so ya. everyone bugged me to break the silence. and i did. so started to talk to them but they seemed like they didn bother to listen. soon class started. and the sec 3s went back to class. and later found out tht a few of the sec 4 NAs and sec 2s skiped class and stayed at the canteen to talk about IT.and yeah. they'll expect a scolding from ms ponni and hopefully not juraimi. haiz. it'll be so difficult to handle the band without the seniors. if u really count, its 8 sec 3s VS 30 plus plus ppl. so ya. get the picture. im imagining something like stepping into the band room, seeing ppl fooling around, jumping around like some mad monkeys, not being serious at all, and not listening to the leaders. hope tht won't happen! i want discipline, respect, and be focus. u can act like some crazy person outside band. but obviously, don't keep everything to yourselves. BE YOURSELF. just not too much.anyway. down to friday. mrs loh came back! its not a happy thing though, she came back to celebrate her farewell. well we played for her. guess its the last time she'll ever hear it. was very sad. had many speeches, from teachers and all. the VP cried! it was really sad. and everyone started going up to hug her. and we hugged her as a band! we walked down the red carpet and everyone was starring. so embarrassing! and we all hugged her. hope we didn suffocate her or something. lol.sad she's leaving. but life goes on! we'll obviously miss her. so ya. so far my brain cells were taken up by band. and some apparently died from stoning. u know ur brain cells die when u stone. ya. band has been THE issue lately. ppl must be wondering why we were crying on friday the 13th, and why the announcements always had something to do with PB meeting. oh well, hope everything goes smoothly now and in the future and tht it won't affect my studies.ok. so today. woke up at 6am to meet xs at the bedok inter. ate breakfast and went to sch. had practice till 11am. headed off to RGS. STC, MSS came. and we all played for each other. Dr christopher fong came too. the 'judge'. of all schs, he asked our sch to turn around while ms faridah's conducting. which means we can't see her. it was quite cool though. we used our ears to listen instead of using sight. yeah. ok.. gtg now. got church tmr. and sorry timothy i think i can't make it to your band's concert tmr! nights!

hello.ok. last night had a long and funny conference about PB. we've got lots to say. haiz. i have been thinking about what happened on friday. i just can't get it off my mind. i guess it'll stay in my mind forever.ahh well. this is from the sec 3s:Hey come on guys.what's this about?Its tiring enough going for AB from three to five times a week, getting scoldings and being yelled in our face. Percussion band practise is a solace to us. Why on earth do you think we're rushing from the music room, to the CCA foyer, and back to the music room every friday? And comig for band on wednesdays when we can? Do you think its easy juggling two CCAs? We come, rushing, for fifteen minutes before band ends, to see you guys and enjot the company, but this is what we get. its disappointing.Sec twos, whats going on?Yeah, its true that maybe you're CLOSER to the sec fours to some extent, being in band for a year and four months, while the sec ones only have that few months of experience in PB. but that doesnt mean that you 'own' the sec fours, you 'own' the credit for planning the farewell party. I dont know whats going on. WE dont know whats going on. You cry and say stuff like "They copy our idea, they whatever whatever." begeezes. Its a frigging CAKE. you want to break the band up over a CAKE? And when the ex seniors ask you what is wrong, you guys dont want to say anything. And yet, after the whole event, you guys say that ya'll cried because the sec fours are leaving. Which one is it? You know, that's the whole damn reason why ms ponni walked out on us, cause she thinks that ya'll crying cause of the sec ones 'copying' your idea.If anyone of you actually OPENED your eyes, you would see how ridiculous this whole thing is. the last day the sec fours are gonna be here, and this is what happens. Other CCAs cry on the seniors' farewell party, but it ends in happiness, people crying because of the loss of their seniors, but happy at the renounced unity of the band. The other CCAs dont cry, just because the sec ones 'stole' their idea.The band isnt all about you. Dont you see that a band isnt just fifty different personalities? when we come together, we change into one person, a team. Everybody in SAC knows percussion band as a band with prestige, discipline, people filled with passion for music and much more. Are we about to become a band where in our teacher in charge walks out? That was embarrasing. You KNOW what ms ponni said. she perfectly potrayed our feelings. "You know this thing is just totally immature and childish. I give up on you all." and she stalks off. That was it. the pinnacle of embarrasment. it shows how 'mature' we, as a band, really are.Is it that the sec threes and fours didnt teach you guys well enough? Its the same philosophy. If you guys act like this, the WHOLE BAND taks the blame for it, cause well, we're a band. yeah i keep repeating it but its true.You're the leaders of the sec ones. you earn they're respect the RIGHT WAY. Respect has never been a big problem in PB right? The thing is, you guys dont know when to respect your seniors, but demand respect from us and sec ones just the same. Respect isnt a one way thing. You gotta earn it. not true? see thats your first mistake. you deny every fault you have, but dont ever think about the truth.Seriously, the sec fours dont frigging care about the cake and that. sure, the shirt is awesome, the food is great, the cakes were nice. the whole party was well planned with obvious intention to give a great farewell. But you think its what the sec fours really care about? Nope. they dont care what present was from who, the cost of your extravagent gestures. what they really care about it the band unity, and they want to be reassured that they leave with the band in good hands. they want to see that even us they leave for academic studies, the band continues to flourish and go on fine without them. that's what they care about.When they see it like this, you think they want to come back?What was supposed to be a great show of unity and a great farewell degenrated to this.You know, the only thing you can do for yourselves right now is to just REFLECT. Not lash out uncontrollably and say we're BIAS against you and that we HATE you. but just think about what ya'll have done and how immature this has been, INSTEAD of accusing the whole world and hating everything that comes with it.Is this what band has become?That's all that needs to be said, really.-From Sec threesok its kinda long. heh. yeah. but i guess its true. we're not saying we are angels or what. but i guess u just have to know whens the right time to do what. yeah. don't take it as a scolding k. although the 'letter' might be harsh. just think it through ya? i know you might and would hate us for life or something. but we just gotta say it out. hey..sch was fun. heh. quite relaxing. so ya. sch was fun.AB was good today. put make up and did our hair. many ppl said i looked like a lawyer. with my prefects shirt and all. like no la. heh.after tht went for PB after AB. and it was.. erm emo. i don't really know what exactly happened. so i won't say anything till another time. all i know is tht it should never happen again. and i hope it won't.so ya. i shall not say anything on my blog. if not some might say im bias towards whoever and what batch. yup. so good luck everyone for tmr's 2.4km run. hope everything will turn out fine. =)Labels: EMONESS.

hello.. today sch was.. fine. heh. i lived through 3 periods of ss! hahahahaha. the rest of the day was practically much the same.then went for band. heh suppose to leave at like 4.30. but don't know why we stayed till the end. and yeah. they suddenly decided to annouce the new band committee.i've got no comments about it. lol. but its really sad to see the seniors leaving. haiz. i'll make their farewell party the best one ever. don't know how but yeah. we'll do something different. yup yup. i really don't want them to leave at all! so sad!! AHHHH..

hey..
quite long since i updated i guess.
well..
woke up early to go for choir prac and mass.
then went out with my sis.
saw yu ting at century square.
im always bumping into her when i go there.
LOL.
sch this week was fine.
just tht i know im going to fail my A maths test.
like duh. heh.
and ya. porjects and more projects.
went for band on wed. PB.
at first we only wanted to stay for like 5 mins.
but they were playing double wacko.
so ya. we stayed.
then later they voted for the next batch of leaders.so sad huh.. seniors leaving so fast. and like i didn even performed with them for their last performance cuz i was in AB. and im not tht close to them already. and again because of AB. so ya. i feel so bad. really gonna miss them. last year was the best. haiz.. don't know what the band's going to be like after they leave. heh.
