♥ -reality check!-

hey!
back from MOE leadership camp.
it was quite fun.. yup.

Day 1
1 hour bus ride to jalan bahtera.
splited up into 2 grps..
my grp consisted of pei rong, olivia, tsin ning, mathea, pearlyn, janna, joy, randy, rouen, amanda, melissa, sarah anne, maria, michelle chew, michelle low and su jan.
and we're called the !Oompa Loompa(s).
the other grp called themselves Rojak.
ate breakfast, then went on to the zipline/high elements.
zipline a.k.a flying fox was FUN.
it wasn tht high..
coach timothy promised me tht if i didn scream, he would treat me to dinner.
and i really didn scream! joy and janna was 'screaming/cheering' for me.
so from up there it seemed as if i screamed.
haiz.. no dinner in the end. LOL.

yup.. due to the rain we couldn do high elements and kayaking. SIAN.
we only managed to learn how to belay and tying the 8-figure.
did wet weather activities..
by then it was already 6 plus.
bathed, ate dinner which was kinda disgusting but edible. yuck.
did night walk!
first half we were all blind folded holding each other by the shoulder. and they were leading us to some place..
and we ended up in the entrance, which leads to a long stretch of road.
the second half was freaky. had to walk alone one by one along the road.
i was.. kinda freaked out.
it was pitch black.
until some stupid car drove pass and spoilt the fun.
walked for like 7 mins plus, met the rest and talked.
michelle's ghost story was SO scary. -.-
waited for everyone to reach, then walked back as a grp.
nights out at 11pm plus. =)

Day 2
woke up at 6.45am, assembled at 7.30am.
ate breakfast.. oh yah. we did the hungry cheer again.
well for every meal.
started the day off with recap of belaying techniques/skills.
then learnt how to read the compass and doing pacing.
which was kinda lame. haha.
moved on to outdoor cooking!
super tedious!
had to cook orange omelette and cookie.
the orange omelette was a disaster cuz the fire just couldn start!
we had to use dry leaves to keep it going.
but in the end it couldn really work.
the cookies turned out to taste like prata. LOL.
at least it was nice.
took close to 2 hours to finish cooking/starting the fire.. yeah.

after tht ate lunch,
moved on to rockclimbing/belaying.
everyone took turns to do all the roles of the belay team and being the climber.
after my grp we started playing the bottle game.
all the instructors couldn get it. OLD LA.
they taught us this 'ba rum' game.
which was really funny and noisy.
had to sit between instructor randal a.k.a random and instructor jeremy a.k.a gay. LOL.
super noisy can..
but i wasnt distracted. haha..
they thought i would lose. BLEAH!
in the end they both had to do forfeit.
super lame!

next was the casualty course/general station.
had to do some obstacle while having a casualty.
so ppl had to take turns carrying her. the first one was maria.. lol.
first station we had to get everyone across this high wall, including the casualty, but she couldn 'move'.
yeah.
finished then had to do the higher wall.

the next casulty was ME.
haiz. carried me flat up the staircase.
my neck was killing me!
next station everyone had to go through this tire, including me.
the activity stopped cuz we didn realise tht the grp's safety was in danger.
the spine hitting the edge of the tire and all. yeah.
so the instructors lectured us.
but in the end we made it.

then bathed, ate dinner, then played kidnap.
maria got kidnapped.
there were 25 boxes in which 2 contained our grp's key to unlock her chains.
so we had to finish one station in order to guess one box.
if we didn get it right.. we have to move on to station 2.
yeah.. thts how it goes.
the first time we guessed it right..
so we got our first key!
and then luck wasn on our side..
did like 5 other stations before guessing the next box which contained our key.
it was box 1 and 6.
yeah.. then everyone gathered at the shutter area.
someone told them it wasn there.
my grp didn believe so we went to check, opening all the shutters, AT NIGHT.
me and tsin ning opened the first one, and it couldn open.
then tried the second one.
we didn know it was open, so we used alot of strength.
then the instructor inside ran out and scared us.
i was totally freaked out k!
scream like crazy. LOL.
yup. so we got maria out..
and we won! haha..

day 3 didn do much.
did area cleaning, debrief then went back to sch!
i missed band ALOT.
kept smsing poh hun and others to ask how was band. yeah.
so tht was it! =)
